CLINICAL RESEARCH COORDINATOR/RN

Location: San Antonio, Texas

Comments: CLINICAL RESEARCH COORDINATOR/RN for medical oncology practice in San Antonio. Will be responsible for enlisting, maintaining, and assuring protocol compliance for all patients on clinical trials. Collaborates with physician in determining eligibility of patients for clinical trials. Provides education for staff and patients. Ensures site research quality by practicing in compliance with US Oncology Research, Inc. Standard Operating Procedures, principles of Good Clinical Practice and applicable federal, state, and local regulations. Associates degree in a clinical or scientific related discipline desired, Bachelor's degree preferred. Experience in Phase I, II, or III studies a plus. Minimum three years nursing experience, clinical or scientific related discipline, preferable in oncology. Current licensure as a registered nurse in state of practice preferred. Current BLCS or ACLS certification required for nurses. SoCRA or ACRP certification preferred. Excellent oral and written communications required. Well organized and a self started preferred.
